KODAIKANAL

Another gem in the crown jewel of Palani Hills is Kodaikanal, which is one of the very few places in South India that attract thousands of tourists and adventurers at a time. With tourism playing the main part in the place’s economy, it is also one of the most preferred summer vacation spots in the entire country. At about 7000 feet above the sea level, in the Dindigul district of Tamilnadu, stands tall our beloved “Princess of Hill Stations”.

The main attraction of Kodaikanal is the fact it is not just like any other typical hill station. It is versatile in its own way and it has lots to offer to every kind of people who visit the place.

The century-old Bryant Park attracts just about anyone with the scenic beauty of its botanical gardens and people with kids can absolutely go for it. It also has thousands of exotic Eucalyptus trees with around 740 varieties of roses. With no doubt, it is an exhilarating experience for first-timers.

Coaker’s Walk is any pacer’s daydream, blessing them with admirable sceneries along the entire path. If you are even more gifted, you will get to experience the “Broken Spectre”. Without a visit to the Silver Cascade Falls near Kodaikanal, your trip may never be complete.

The other marvels around the place include the Green Valley View, the magnificent Pine forests, Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, Shembaganur Museum of Natural History, Dolphin’s Nose and the divinely spectacular Kurinji Andavar Murugan Temple. If you have been to Kodaikanal before, you are fortunate, but not more fortunate than those who get to visit this place for the very first time.
